Privacy policy
Last updated: 21 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data Dakubo handles, what for, for how long and what you can do about it, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
1. Data controller
- Controller: TODO: full name or registered company name
- Tax ID (NIF / CIF): TODO: NIF / CIF
- Registered address: TODO: full address
- Contact: hola@dakubo.com
2. What data we handle, and where it comes from
This site has no forms that send data to our servers. The quote configurator runs entirely in your browser: your answers are neither stored nor sent anywhere, and at the end your own email program opens with a message already written, which you decide whether to send, and can edit or discard first.
So we only handle the data you send us when you write to us:
- Identity and contact details: name, email address and, if you give them, phone number and company.
- The content of the message: what you tell us about your project, including the summary of options the configurator puts in the email.
- Technical server data: our hosting provider logs, for security and to keep the site working, data such as IP address and browser type, for a limited time.
- Cookieless usage statistics: page views, country, device and browser, and whether the configurator is opened or the contact email pressed. They are collected with Vercel Web Analytics, which tells visitors apart with a code derived from the request that cannot identify you, is discarded after 24 hours and is not stored on your device. More in the cookie policy.
3. What we use it for, and on what basis
- Answering your enquiry and preparing a quote — legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Managing the relationship if we end up working together — legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Meeting legal obligations, tax and accounting ones in particular — legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
- Keeping the site secure and working, and knowing how much and how it is used — legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR), with statistics that identify nobody.
We send no marketing messages or newsletters, build no profiles, and make no automated decisions about you.
4. How long we keep it
Messages that do not lead to a commission are kept while the conversation lasts and for up to a year after, in case you get back in touch. Where there is a contract, the data is kept for the length of the relationship and, afterwards, for the statutory limitation periods (six years for commercial and accounting matters, four for tax). Technical server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider.
5. Who else sees this data
We neither sell nor share personal data. Only the providers we need in order to work have access to it, acting as processors under contract:
- Site hosting and usage statistics: Vercel Inc. (United States) — their privacy policy.
- Email: the provider we run hola@dakubo.com with.
- Tax and accounting advisers, where invoicing requires it.
Beyond that, data is only disclosed to public authorities and courts where the law requires it.
6. International transfers
Some of the providers above are established outside the European Economic Area or may process data there. In that case the transfer relies on a European Commission adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses, with any additional safeguards that apply. You can ask us for a copy of those safeguards by writing to us.
7. Your rights
You can at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before.
To do so, write to hola@dakubo.com, saying which right you are exercising. We will reply within a month. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), www.aepd.es, C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data: an encrypted connection (HTTPS) across the whole site, restricted access to the mailboxes, and backups of project information.
9. Minors
This site is aimed at professionals and businesses. We do not knowingly request or handle data from anyone under 14.
10. Cookies
The use of cookies and local storage is detailed in the cookie policy.
11. Changes to this policy
If the way we handle data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. We recommend checking it now and then.
